Abstract

We are the voice that Hays County Government official, Assistant District Attorney Cathy Compton doesn’t want to hear. This is a non-invasive attempt at understanding Hays County Assistant District Attorney Cathy Compton using psychoanalysis. If you have never heard of a trial in which an 82 year old, world renowned religious teacher was sentenced to 280 years in prison by a small town southern jury, on groping charges without evidence or witnesses to back up statements by 3 women (Kate Tonnessen, Vesla Tonnessen Kazimer and their best friend Shyama Rose), whose own family members and friends characterized as habitual liars; without any reason for him to even be in the court-room; without there having been any kind of investigation whatsoever; in which his expulatory evidence vanished simultaneously from the District Attorney’s office AND the sheriff’s office and no investigation was done into how that evidence went missing, rather we are told “evidence goes missing everywhere”; and in which almost the entire courtroom walked out in mass protest before the end of the sentencing phase of the trial; then you have no right to judge a trial in which all these things did happen.

There are a selection of must-read further links at the bottom. This essay is simply an attempt to understand the mind-set of a corrupt Government official, the assistant District Attorney of Hays County, Cathy Compton, who was a driving force, along with her boss, the elected Government official Hays County District Attorney Sherri Tibbe, behind the religious harassment of the peaceful, vegetarian Hindu community in Hays County.

Ok, so lets use a psychoanalytical approach to understand the co-pilot of the religious harrasment of Swami Prakashanand Saraswati and his supporters. To conduct a rigorous evaluation, Hays County Assistant District Attorney Cathy Compton would need to go through several rounds of interviewing and participate in a rorschach inkblot test. Here is one of the 10 standard rorschach inkblot test cards. Relaxing and hypnotic to look at, isn’t it? I see two koala’s pulling at an overly large beetle; you?

The Rorschach inkblot test is a psychological test in which subjects’ perceptions of inkblots are recorded and then analyzed using psychological interpretation, complex algorithms, or both. Some psychologists use this test to examine a person’s personality characteristics and emotional functioning. It has been employed to detect underlying thought disorder, especially in cases where patients are reluctant to describe their thinking processes openly. The test is named after its creator, Swiss psychologist Hermann Rorschach.

I underlined the part where it says where patients are reluctant to describe their thinking processes openly. Fortunately for us, an inkblot test need not be administered to Hays County Assistant District Attorney Cathy Compton, as we have Hays County Assistant District Attorney Cathy Compton’s own words in the form of an obscure tell-all interview with Mark Donald of Texas Lawyer. The Rorschach inkblot test gives insightful details about a person’s perception of the world around them. Hays County Assistant District Attorney Cathy Compton’s interview also gives insightful details about the world around her, and how she percieves herself. In this way, her conversation with the interviewer, Mark Donald of Texas Lawyer, is itself the inkblot test that we will be using to furnish this report.

In this 2006 interview, Cathy Compton revealed many insights (albeit serendipitously) about her personality. And the funny thing is, that with all her screaming and shouting in the courtroom, prosecutorial tactics, destroying evidence, causing pain and humiliation to innocent people – her own personal analysis of herself seems spot on. I hope you appreciate that I am not telling a story here. I am presenting documented, undeniable and irrefutable circumstantial evidence here. Don’t believe me or disbelieve me and keep an open on mind. At the end, think about Hays County Assistant District Attorney’s psychological state, and draw your own conclusions after doing you own research. I have provide must-read further reading links at the end.

You can read the interview with Hays County Assistant District Attorney Cathy Compton here. The interview was about Cathy Compton’s exploits as a prosecutorial rollar derby enthusiast; it was basically about a rollar derby team she co-founded, whose team members were all attorneys. The interview took place in 2006; apparently before she became Hays County’s Assistant District Attorney. The main points of the interview, which reveal some insight into the personality of this corrupt Government worker in her own words, are:

  • She uses the pseudo-name ”Nita Spankin”

How many 40-something year olds do you know that use “Nita Spankin” as their rollar derby name? From a psychoanaltical viewpoint, referring to herself as “Spankin” might indicate a subconscious acknowledgment of having tendencies toward Sadistic Personality Disorder. The current version of the DSM (DSM-IV) does not include Sadistic Personality Disorder, so it is no longer considered a valid diagnostic category, but it is useful to convey a category of symptoms. The proposed DSM III-R criteria is

1. Humiliates or demeans people in the presence of others

Hays County District Attorney Cathy Compton jeering characterization
of Defendant Swami Prakashanand Saraswati’s medical chair as “his
throne” was chillingly reminiscent of how the Romans characterized
Christ as “King” by coronating him with a crown of thorns

Not only did Hays County Assistant District Attorney degrade, demean and humiliate each and every one of the defense witnesses who had physical evidence to back up everything they said, she also jeered at the spectators in the room, referring to them as the “audience”. When a young defense witness gave compelling evidence, Hays County Assistant District Attorney Cathy Compton jeeringly suggested that the defense witness was a liar. It’s not that she had any proof or inference that she was lying, she just called her a liar because it sounded like something good to say. There is no way that Hays County Assistant District Attorney Cathy Compton could have had basis for calling any defense witness a liar, as neither she, nor anyone else had conducted one iota of an investigation. The investigation was 100% the statements of Kate Tonnessen, Vesla Tonnessen Kazimer and Shyama Rose. Even those statements (in video format) vanished and became damaged from every single location. Kate Tonnessen had a history of crying wolf about abuse cases about other people, other than Swami Prakashanand Saraswati, which were investigated by Child Protective Services, which concluded that she had lied. Hays County District Assistant District Attorney Cathy Compton would have known this if an investigation was done. Instead, the original videos vanished from the Hays County Sheriff’s evidence room. The backups, which were held by Hays County Assistant District Attorney Cathy Compton, were damaged and unusable. The computers at the Hays County Sheriff’s office (which it was hoped could be used to do forensic analysis on) disappeared. The DVD copier disappeared. So there was nothing left of that missing evidence. So Hays County Assistant District Attorney humiliated the defense witnesses and spectators, and gratuitously accused them of being liars without having an evidence-based basis. Her prosecutorial hook was the religion of the defense witnesses – to portray to the jury that they were fundamentally untrustworthy because of the religion, Hinduism, which they followed. There was almost nothing else said at trial which didn’t involve the religion of Swami Prakashanand Saraswati and the many defense witnesses. Reminiscent of the old inquisitions, the Hindu community was forced to defend their faith, as much as defend Swami Prakashanand Saraswati himself. Remember that these defense witnesses had already been shook up by unprecedented bombardment of snipers, shadowy security men, previously unseen security measures etc. before entering the courtroom. It was a step-wise operation of slow humiliation, degradation and demoralization, which all occurred due to a sadism of Hays County Assistant District Attorney, and clearly NOT for any reasons of justice. Her last words to the jury were that Swami Prakashanand Saraswati deserves to die in prison because he sits on a chair (or as she said, a “throne“), has visited Las Vegas on religious duties and has wealthy supporters. The cruel and spine-chilling irony of Hays County Assistant District Attorney Cathy Compton referring to the internationally respected religious leader Swami Prakashanand Saraswati’s chair – a medical chair which he was forced to sit in due to extreme back pain – calling that chair a “throne” was reminiscent of when the Roman’s coronated Christ  with a crown of thorns while being led to his crucifixion, while glorifying him with mock cheers of “Hail, King of the Jews!”

2. Has treated or disciplined someone under his/her control unusually harshly

The innocent Hays County public receives a “spankin” from the County’s
corrupt Government employees, District Attorneys
 Sherri Tibbe and Cathy Compton

Hays County Assistant District Attorney Cathy Compton fought for 82yo Swami Prakashanand Saraswati to die in prison with a 400 year sentence, with no witnesses to back up statements of the accusers, missing testimony and computers, not a shred of physical or circumstantial evidence except Compton’s assertion that the religion of Swami Prakashanand Saraswati, is fundamentally bad, and the Hindu community who supported him are fundamentally liars. In the years leading up to the trial (most of the delays were at Cathy Compton’s own request) she administered extreme physical and mental abuse on Swami Prakashanand Saraswati and his supporters. Her bail amount was off-the-charts at $1Million initially (which was the highest bail ever set in Hays County; higher even than bail amounts for Mexican Mafia dons). Furthermore, another $10Million bail was set, which was probably one of the highest bail amounts ever recorded. Unusually harsh? For an 82yo man, with no criminal history and no history of prior accusations against him?

3. Is amused by, or takes pleasure in, the psychological or physical suffering of others (including animals)

Not even Texas tumbleweed was in
the courtroom when the spectators
walked out in protest of Cathy
Compton

Jeered at the emotional pain suffered by the spectators. In fact everyone left before the end of the sentencing phase of the trial. I kid you not. Have you ever heard of a trial where everyone left in protest? Only court officials, the 3 accusing women and their other halves and an unstable anti-Hindu ghost writer called Karen Jonson (aka. Rishika) remained. Not even Texas tumbleweed blew there. Have you heard of such a trial? If you have not, then you have no right to compare this trial to a normal one.

4. Has lied for the purpose of harming or inflicting pain on others (not merely to achieve some other goal)

Lied in the sense that all the evidence in her possession vanished, in co-ordination with vanishing evidence at the Hays County District Sheriff’s office. Claimed not to know what happened to that exculpatory evidence, yet conducted no investigation into the missing evidence. Why wouldn’t Hays County Assistant District Attorney ask for an investigation into missing evidence? The answer to that question is the same as the answer to the following question: “Why don’t people ask for investigations into their own crimes?”

On October 27, 2010, the Austin American-Statesman reported Assistant District Attorney Cathy Compton as saying: “Every single time somebody came here seeking delay it was because he [Swami Prakashanand Saraswati] was too ill to travel. Enough is enough.” Yet, on October 6, 2009, the same newspaper reported that a reason for delay was one of the accusing women having given birth. The fact is that ALL the initial trial delays were on Sherri Tibbe’s and Cathy Compton’s demand. Did Cathy Compton know this, or did she give false statements in order to taint Swami Prakashanand Saraswati’s name? Do you notice anything odd about that statement “…somebody came here…” (meaning “here in this courtroom”)? Every delay that Sherri Tibbe and Cathy Compton requested was done out of court, whereas Swami Prakashanand Saraswati’s lawyers made the requests in court. So Cathy Compton’s underhand comment “somebody came here” was used to disguise the fact that most of the delays were actually called by the Hays County District Attorney’s Office – albeit not “here”, in this exact place. Notice that she didn’t say: “Every single time somebody was seeking delay it was because he was too ill to travel. Enough is enough” (although it seemed like that’s what she was saying), because that would have been inaccurate. This goes to show the naked face of Cathy Compton’s deceit. Most people, however, unquestioningly assumed that all the trial delays were at Swami Prakashanand Saraswati’s request.

Hays County Assistant District Attorney Cathy Compton admitted, after being forced to, that it was SHE, and SHE ALONE, that chose the dates on which the women were groped. I kid you not. When reacting to Swami Prakashanand Saraswati’s lawyers’ chart with the timetable of the events, Assistant District Attorney Cathy Compton threw her hands at those dates and screamed, as if by incautious abandonment: “these dates don’t matter. I picked those dates!”. The District Attorney’s office decided which days the women got groped. If she chose the dates, what were those dates doing on the Hays County Sheriff’s office’s report? Why did Hays County Assistant District Attorney tell the 3 women what to say to the police? Women who had all claimed and then contradicted themselves that they had gone to the police independently of the District Attorney’s office? If Cathy Compton picked the dates on which the women the were groped, on what basis did she try to prosecute Swami Prakashanand Saraswati? Why was he in court in the first place? The facts go to show that Hays County Assistant District Attorney lied that she ever believed Swami Prakashanand Saraswati was guilty. She knew he was innocent, and she coached the 3 women in what to say to police, then evened out the kinks in their testimony by helping to destroy video recordings of that testimony.

5. Is fascinated by violence, weapons, injury, or torture

Hays County’s finest, District Attorney Cathy Compton had
highly weaponized snipers
on the roof to terrorize vegetarian
supporters of Swami Prakashanand Saraswati

Media reports and eye witness accounts demonstrate that Hays County Assistant District Attorney Cathy Compton mobilized a small army of armed officers to “protect her from the vegetarian, over 50 and peaceful minded devotees” who came to support Swami Prakashanand Saraswati. Hays County Assistant District Attorney Cathy Compton and Hays County District Attorney Sherri Tibbe had snipers in position on the roof of the courthouse with guns trained on the Barsana Dham devotees the day of the verdict who are parents, grandparents, doctors, housewives, office workers, you name it. It was purely an exercise in humiliation and demoralization; a PR strategy to make the media and public believe that terrorists were entering the court room. Eric Dexheimer of Austin American Statesman said that Hays County District Attorney Cathy Compton was shadowed by (presumably) weaponized, scary looking security guards as she entered and exited the courtroom. She wouldn’t answer him when he asked her why she was doing that. Hays County Assistant District Attorney Cathy Compton’s fascination with violence AND weapons is undeniable, if you believe her actions in the courtroom reflect her hidden desires. Causing death is the ultimate violence, and Cathy Compton demanded that elderly Swami Prakashanand Saraswati die in prison with a 400 year sentence (he ended up getting 280 years as it happened).

It doesn’t demonstrate a fascination with injury and torture, but this diagnostic criteria is in the form of an OR construct so those traits are not required for a positive diagnosis.

Sadistic personality disorder has an 8 limbed diagnostic criteria. Only 4 of those 8 personality traits need be present in order for a positive diagnosis of SPD. I have outlined 5. I have demonstrated that 5 of those are indeed present. Based on Hays County District Attorney’s interesting self-moniker “Nita Spankin” and the facts I have outlines above, do you believe that there is at least a possibility of the presence of SPD?

  • She named her roller derby group “The Dragon Divas”.

How many 40-something year olds do you know that think of themselves as a “Diva”? According to Urban Dictionary , a Diva is

a bitchy woman that must have her way exactly, or no way at all. Often rude and belittles people, believes that everyone is beneath her and thinks that she is so much more loved than what she really is. Selfish, spoiled, and overly dramatic.

  • She says of herself As a trial attorney, people describe me as a pit bull in mother hen’s clothing

Duplicity means

contradictory doubleness of thought, speech, or action; especially : the belying of one’s true intentions by deceptive words or action

Two faced means

Having two faces or surfaces; Hypocritical or double-dealing; deceitful.

Deceitful means

Deceiving or misleading others, typically on a habitual basis.

Based on the above three definitions, what adjectives would you use for someone who dressed as a “mother hen”, but who was really a “pitbull”? What would you call a criminal who dressed as a cop? What would you call a financially-motivated criminal, who fulfilled the diagnostic criteria for Sadistic Personality Disorder, who wore the clothes of an assistant District Attorney?

Hays County’ Assistant District Attorney Cathy
Compton harvesting the souls of Hindus

On a final note, what would you call a District Attorney who said: “We have investigated the allegations made by Ms. Peach and feel strongly that the law and the facts show no misconduct in the prosecution of this case” , after being told that her colleagues presented false evidence in court? What would you call a District Attorney who said: “There are cases everywhere in which evidence is lost, not just our county. Get over it.”  What do you call a District Attorney who protected a friend from investigation ? What do you call a District Attorney who protected a friend from murder charges ? What do you call a District Attorney who based her political campaign on the idea that the previous District Attorney lost too many of their cases , and who promised to win more cases if she was elected; but who then destroyed evidence to secure convictions and mainly charged minorities for sexual abuse so that they would be more likely to be convicted by a small town jury? What do you call a District Attorney who makes a song and dance to the media about her identity being stolen because someone bought a “christian themed video and wrinkle treatment” on her credit card , but who then ran for the hills when the talk of an investigation came up? What do you call a District Attorney who’s competitor “coincidentally” got falsely charged with child abuse right in the middle of an election battle with her , and who only won the election based on the accused’s being forced to drop out of the race , and the competitor was later cleared , after the election, when it was too late? The answer is: Sherri Tibbe, Hays County District Attorney .

Enough said.
